220v PLANETARY DIAMOND GRINDERS


Most contractors use weak 110V rental sanders or messy acid washes that barely scratch the surface. We use The Beast—a 600lb, 220V planetary grinder equipped with industrial diamonds. It shaves away the weak top layer of concrete to reveal a porous, 'thirsty' surface. This creates thousands of microscopic 'hooks' that allow our coating to fuse into your slab, not just sit on top of it. If it isn’t diamond ground, it isn’t OtterTek.

High-performance 220V diamond grinders require massive amounts of stable power. Our trailer is equipped with a top-of-the-line industrial generator, meaning we provide 100% of our own electricity. No tripped breakers, no hunting for outlets, and no strain on your home’s electrical system.

Creating the Mechanical Profile

We use specialized industrial diamonds to create a CSP-2 (Concrete Surface Profile). This creates millions of microscopic "hooks" that allow our polyaspartic resins to fuse deep into the slab.

Voltage-Driven Torque

By utilizing a 220V power system, our grinders maintain consistent RPMs even through the hardest "over-creterized" concrete, ensuring an even prep from the back of the garage to the apron.

Eliminating Laitance

We effectively shave off the "milk" or weak top layer of the concrete, ensuring our coating bonds to the structural aggregate of your home rather than just a dusty surface.
